New York’s most exciting Israeli folk dancing session meets every Thursday (but not July 3rd) at Hungarian House, 213 E 82 St in Manhattan. Machol Manhattan founders Rina Rinkewich and Ilan Birnbaum are your markidim (teachers / session leaders).
We teach beginner and intermediate repertoire dances from 7:30-8:15pm. From 8:15-11:30pm we alternate circle and partner sets (first partner set is at 9pm) as well as line dances including teaching of intermediate and advanced dances.
Israeli folk dancing is fun, challenging, social, great exercise... there are so many reasons to give it a try!
