Machol Manhattan Israeli folk dancing sessions meet every Thursday at Hungarian House, 213 E 82 St in Manhattan. Machol Manhattan founders Rina Rinkewich and Ilan Birnbaum are your markidim (teachers / session leaders).
On Sept 4th, we will teach beginner and intermediate repertoire dances from 7:30-8:15pm. From 8:15-11:30pm we alternate circle and partner sets (first partner set is at 9pm) as well as line dances including teaching of intermediate and advanced dances. Beginning on Sept 11th, we have a change in schedule: there will be no beginners teaching and we will instead dance beginner, intermediate, and advanced dances from 8pm to midnight.
Israeli folk dancing is fun, challenging, social, great exercise... there are so many reasons to give it a try!
